Nagendra Babu
Knowing Nagendra Babu as a producer, actor and Megastar Chiranjeevi's brother is not knowing everything about him. He has a very good sence of humor and human outlook. He appears as reserved and serious to those who do not know him closely as he appears very friendly and affectionate to those who know him well. Of the megabrothers, it Chiranjeevi is a great observer, Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan are great readers, not of detective fiction and suspence thrillers, but of books, which help the development of an integrated personality. Nagababu's chief interest lies in personality development and better way of living, and naturally, his best friends are persons and books that guide him in these matters.
Nagababu, though looks awesome and serious because of his figure, turns a willing learner when it comes to knowing things unknown to him. Always glad to learn anything new from anyone, he spoke informallyu on a number of topics of CineGoer.com, on the sets of the movie 'Stalin'.
"On the job of inviting people to my brother's daughter Sushmita's marriage," said Nagababu, "I met ten great personalities. They are all leaders in their fields of activity. However, their simplicity and way of living geally fascinated me. That none can become great without being special in some way or without really deserving to be great was one hundred per cent correct in their cases, I felt. They have studied life from every angle. They are really merited," concluded Nagababu.
Asked who those great persons were and how they impressed him, Nagababu replied that his impressions of them were purely personal, indicationg that he was rather unwilling to talk about them. "Others too will come to know of these ten men's greatness if you make your views public," insisted CineGoer.com, and Nagababu felt committed.
"That's true." he agreed. "That they are great, every body knows. So if I have to talk about their greatness, it is purely from my point of view and from the impressions they made on me," he said. "These ten great men are : 1) Akkineni Nageswara Rao 2) Sobhan Babu 3) Dasari Narayana Rao 4) Balachander, 5) Rajanikanth 6) Sivakumar 7) Ambarish, 8) Vishnuvardhan, 9) Gaddar, and 10) Satyam Computers Ramalingaraju.
Living Example of the Title, Evergreen
"I accompanied brother Chiranjeevi to invite ANR. Though long been in Hyderabad, i had the opportunity to meet him at his home only on this occasion. That was the first time for me to see the great hero and to talk to him from such close quarters. I found it difficult to believe he was 82.1 observed that even at that ripe old age, he didn't falter in his voice or gait. Usually people that age suffer from 'brain vibrations.' As a result they repeat themselves, and laugh and get angry without reason: but not a trace of any such thing could be seen in the great hero. The feeling that you get is you can't find a better example of 'an evergreen person' than Nageswara Rao."
"He introduced us to his wife Mrs. Annapurnamma. As he talked about the medicines she was taking and the treatment she waas undergoing we could understand the great care he took of her health. It is really rare to come across a couple like this- as though breathing and living for each other. I felt that here was a 'complete couple,' which has tasted all joys and riches of life. The great puzzle for me was how it was possible for such a great man to live, talk and behave in such a simple manner!" summed up Nagababu his impressions of Nageswara Rao.
